Objectives
The broad objectives of “WINDMILL” is to create a safe environment which is conclusive to achieving the best possible education/training programme meeting social and pre-employment needs of those in our community with mild/moderate intellectual disabilities. It is the units ongoing intention to achieve the following terminal objectives.

1. To keep pace with new ideas and new ways of improving the quality of life for those engaged on the project.

2. The provision of a purposeful and worthwhile training programme, which focuses on the personal and pragmatic needs of the individual, in particular those with special needs.

3. To tease out latent skills and develop new ones, to provide an imaginative work environment.

4. To play a positive role and respond to the needs for self advocacy and the preparation of work in the open market.

5. To make a contribution to an ever changing society.
